Western Colorado Interpretive Association has received a grant from the J.R. Kaplan Fund to reconstruct a portion of the Hanging Flume. When the final project is complete, a 16-foot section of the Flume will be built along the side of the wall just as it was done back in the 1890s. It will allow visitors to study the intricate construction and craftsmanship used to build the Hanging Flume.
